Why can't our kids be safe at school anymore???
DD2's middle school and the high school next door have been on lock down all afternoon because of a shooting. Luckily the injuries are non-life threatening but still, the kids in lock down don't know this information. I am on my way to pick up DD2 because we are now allowed to do so. I will write more upon my return.

OH MY! I would be so freaked out by that...AND....not being able to pick my child up would be the topper. I hope all is well and DD is feeling OK.
