Well y'all, I am hopefully back....

It has been a busy 2 weeks. The weekend of th 5-7, DH and I went to the beach for The North Carolina Seafood Festival. We visited the boat show portion, marched the streets for crafts (more on that later), viewed various paintings and artwork, and ate some very good shrimp. All the food we could find was seafood, hence the seafood festival.

One of the "crafts" was a flag vendor who had dual monogrammed flags. This one is actually black and gold. We also got an elaborate monogrammed flag for the Christmas Holidays. They had some polka dot with the "curlz" monogram on flags as well. Precious for spring, and I do plan to order one of those.

This is the golf rain gauge we picked up for my daddy. His birthday was last week. He loves golfing and golf memorabilia. I told him it was to measure the drought.

Tomorrow is my dear mother's birthday so after my therapy session, I headed to the local Vera Bradley store. I got her one of the "fancy" auto open/auto close umbrellas. She has so many patterns I actually chose the Pink Elephants umbrella. It was too cute. I almost bought me the same one but I choose:

the Capri Melon so it would match my beach bag, shoes, and visor. By the way, I used all 3 at the seafood festival...very sharp!

I saw another cool monogram flag. It has polka dots and has a fun-looking monogrammed initial. I saw it at Intial Boutique. Or http://www.initialboutique.com or here's the direct page: http://initialboutique.com/Monogram-Polka-Dot-Garden-Size-Flag/M/B0017SJ46U.htm. I love it!
