Love - Day 12

LOVE SONGS

We finished yesterday talking about dancing. Well some of us just can't dance without a little music. Dick Clark who stated, "Music is the soundtrack of your life." When your listening to the radio and certain songs come on, you remember a certain point in your life and many times it helps your remember a certain person. I know everytime I hear the song The Glory of Love, I think of my first true love. As well as the song, When a Man Loves a Woman or Never Thought That I Could Love. Now when I hear the song, You Give Love A Bad Name, I think of my college crush. That was definitely our song. Everyone has to have an "our song". There is even a cute little country song out now to that effect. It is Our Song by Taylor Swift. Now while my dear husband and I were dating, our song was Amazed by Lonestar. Yet when we decided to get married and I actually talked him into having a first dance (DH HATES to dance but promised me he would if he didn't have to do two many steps) something told me our song was just not the right song. I knew in my heart the perfect song for our first dance, At Last by Etta James.
Now trying to find a list of the greatest love songs of all times has been very hard. Most of them have many new songs and I just don't think they should be on the greatest all time list. I did find what country music decided was its greatest love songs. So according to CMT.com , here is the list of the 100 greatest country love songs. CMT's 100 Greatest Love Songs. And you can even listen to most of them.
So then I decided to search for greatest wedding songs and here I found a list that spreads the generations.
Whether any of these touch your heart or are actually an "our song", let music fill your love life and show somebody you love them with a song. (Isn't that a lyric or something???)

Quote of the Day:
The greatest thing you'll ever learn
Is to love and be loved in return.

You know I don't know if we had a song. Is that bad? LOL Or maybe it's that I can't remember back that far. At Last is one of my all time favorite songs. I have really loved these love posts Jennifer!
