emails containing "DO NOT ACCEPT THE NEW DOLLAR BILLS"

Many of you may have recently received an email addressed as above or something very similar. And your email probably states something similar to the following:

The switch has begun!
Please help do this ... refuse to accept these when they are handed back to you. I received one from the Post Office as change and I asked for a dollar bill instead. The lady just smiled and said, 'Way to go,' so she had read this e-mail. Please help out. Our world is in enough trouble without this too! U.S. Government to Release New Dollar Coins.
You guessed it
'IN GOD WE TRUST' IS GONE! If ever there was a reason to boycott something, THIS IS IT! DO NOT ACCEPT THE NEW DOLLAR COINS AS CHANGE
Together we can force them out of circulation. Please Send to all on your mail list!
Thank you!!!
NOW HERE IS THE REAL STORY ACCORDING TO SNOPES.COM
THIS IS FALSE!!

Basically, the mint issued the coins (which is part of a program similar to the 50 state quarters, but dollars for presidents) with "In God We Trust" on the side:

HOWEVER, there were some Washington and Adams that were minted by error with the message missing. These were erronously in error and has been corrected.
UPDATE: Congress reverses its decision for the motto of our country to be on the edge and has instructed the Mint to move it to either the front or the back "as soon as practicle". This change will take place with the ninth coin in the series in 2009.
Again, pleas check out Snopes.com and read the entire story.
Make sure to check out my blog tomorrow when I give you some good advice about forwarding emails. Hope you will check back.
