I was reading The Preppy Islander blog today and she has just returned from a week in Australia. While there she came across a wonderful book titled “Austrian Style - Manners, Interiors, Occasions, Fashion" by Melissa Penfold and Jenny Tabakoff.
The Preppy Islander actually does a wonderful “book report” on this book and provides us with many great quotes. One in particular just jumped right out at me:
"Etiquette is about knowing which fork to use and the right way to introduce people. Useful, yes- but only when accompanied with manners."
