We had decided to go out on the Captain Stacy "headboat" with the girls for some bottom fishing. Pictured above is the actual boat we went on. When we went to reserve our spots on Monday for some Tuesday fishing, I found out that even though the mates may wear flip flops, passengers are encourage to wear closed toe shoes. Well my goodness, I didn't bring any!! It's the beach for goodness sakes and all I brought were flops and sandals!! So Dh and I went off for some closed toe shoes for me to fish in....
My new Sperry slip on TopSiders.
I also grabbed these cute little nautical shoes that are also slip ons. :
As we pulled out of dock I was able to capture this pic of one of the houses across from the dock:
Here is one of the fish coolers holding many people's catch. We mostly caught sea bass and porgys and the big fish you see is an amberjack. There were also 2 sharks caught... a hammerhead that the line was quickly cut and he dropped back into the sea, and another smaller shark that was kept by another fisherman but can't be seen in this picture...
Coming home, I was able to catch this photo of Fort Macon from the sea, notice the American Flag to the left (there wasn't any wind at this point in the day)...And my last photo...eat our wake....

Hi Jenn,
I enjoyed your photos of your trip. I totally agree with you about the ocean. It just makes you feel at peace. Love seeing photos of you, I don't think I've ever seen one posted. Oh and I also love your shoes and your toes in the sand in the post above this. Great fun!
