It was beautiful....

Sunday night into Monday morning, we received about 4 inches of snow. Now personally, snow is very beautiful when it is coming down and when it is freshly fallen. BUT, God put me in the south for a reason, and this weekend, HE just forgot why. I CAN'T STAND cold weather or snow. I'm a beach girl, a southern beach girl....loves warm weather. Thank goodness this weekend is supposed to be in the 70's!

However, I did snap some photos....

Here is my 1/2 of my snow covered gardenia garden.
This is looking off my front porch, across street right.
This is looking off my front porch, across street left.
And this was about 6 am with it still falling some. DD's car in the drive, snow removed.

For some reason, the almost look like B&W's.
Today, it is about 3/4 gone and the sky is a beautiful blue with no clouds in sight. If only my hands did not feel like popsicles!!
Hope everyone on the east coast and southern states hit by the winter storm are doing well.

It's does look pretty Jen but I'm with you on the beach and 70 degree weather! LOL Do you think maybe God put me in the wrong place to live? Because I am such a happy camper when I go to South Carolina. LOL Have a good one and stay warm, the good thing is that where you live the cold won't last long.

You mentioned you wanted to see more recipes...I hear you...my dang posts are sooooo long, I figured I'd leave them out! Maybe I'll add some in again:-) You are cordially invited to attend my Lilly Fashion Show next week. Stop by my blog post today for the details. I hope to see you there!

Your snow is beautiful! I'm sorry its not your "thing." I love snow...but we rarely get it. Of couse, you know I'm like you...I'd much rather be lounging on a beach chair, with the sand between my toes and a good book in my hand. Hurry Spring!

It is pretty and although I'd much rather have it at Christmastime, I am glad it is a rare event down here!
I can't wait for summer weather either!!

I am with you on snow, it is lovely to watch fall and then to see when it is fresh. However, as soon as the snow gets dirty and the freezing weather refuses to leave I am DONE!
