It's so hard to believe...

My daughter only has 1 more exam as a high school student. Today she took her Honors English Exam. She will go back to school Thursday afternoon for her Honors Spanish III review session then Friday morning, she will take that final HS3 exam. Time is moving so fast. Last week was the Senior Award Night at school and it was announced that she had won the NC Baptist Association Scholarship. As many of you know, she also was awarded the Trustee Scholarship for Academic Excellence from the university she will be attending. Tomorrow night (Wednesday), our church is honoring the high school graduates with a special service. The kids come from 3schools (I believe) and will be in their caps and gowns. There will be a cookout before the service (weather permitting) and then the service. They will be introduced, school attended, school for next year, and major if known. This used to be done during one of the church services the Sunday before graduation, but they are trying something new this year. Each graduate has a movie played made up of about 20 photos of themselves that parents send in. Many send embarrassing photos, but I think I played it smart. I think she will walk out tomorrow night with her head held quite high! Congratulations Miss Brooke...you will hear these words often over the next 9 days...but we love you and are so very proud of you, now and always!
