Of Mango Sunsets

Most everynight we are at the beach and not going out that night, after dinner is done, Mr. BB and I love to go sit on the pier about dusk and watch the sun set. Most of the time, the sunsets are quite magical.
One night, dusk as the sun starts to set...

Going, Going...

Gone.

Even though the above pictures are not that spectacular, the sunset was.

But then we had this night. Just a preface...I adore Dorothea Benton Frank (southern women's author) who had written a book called Land of the Mango Sunsets. The sunsets sound amazing and hoped one day I would see my own mango sunset. Thank goodness I had my camera with me this night. (Please note: these are taken with an older digital camera and I had not adjusted any settings...just point and shoot) For some reason, in transfer from camera to computer, they took on a more reddish tone, but I did see my Mango Sunset.

you know, someone else did the same post as about about their husband and guess what, poor thing was allergic to the outside of mango - and here you are mentioning mango sunsets. can you imagine, just the outside - he loves them and eats them, just can't touch the outside so he uses gloves!
